Interview: Mastering Customer Communication and Market Intelligence Strategies

In my interview with Dave Sobel on his Business of Tech podcast, I talk about the communication challenges MSPs face in sales. Dave is a well-known voice in the MSP community, so this conversation is aimed at MSPs, but vendors will find it useful too. It's also a good glimpse into how I think and problem-solve.

How do you translate technical expertise into messaging that resonates with clients? Here are some practical tips for ITSPs and other technical folks who haven't built those marketing skills or instincts, or who are feeling whiplashed about what to do given all the options out there. The most important thing you can do to connect with your audiences is understanding their world and speaking to their realities (pains AND joys), not leading with technology.


That's really the whole thing. Simple, though not necessarily easy.
